Cs. fighter pilot, participant in the offensive over occupied Europe and the Slavic National Uprising. After his escape to Poland in the summer of 1939, he no longer managed to transport to France and remained in Poland. After defeating Poland, he retreated to Romania and then went to France. After the capitulation of France, he evacuated to England. After completing his training, he joined at the end of April 1942 to 312. squad. On May 2, 1942, he was injured in an accident. Shortly after takeoff from Fairwood Common Airport, his Spitfire Mk.VB BL 470 (DU-J) collided with a Spitfire Mk.VB BL 231 ( DU-B) P/O J. Janebu. After a long treatment, he was assigned to 310 in April 1943. squadron and flew with it over the continent. He enlisted as a volunteer in the USSR, and left there in February 1944. He became a member of 1. MS. fighter regiment and intervened with him in the fighting in the SNP. He died on September 20, 1944, when his La-5FN No. 151, shot down by enemy anti-aircraft defense near Pravenc. He was buried there and after the war his remains were transported to his native Buchlovice.
