The Syrian Arab Air Force lost a Mil Mi-25 attack helicopter that was shot down by a handheld anti-aircraft missile system. All 3 crew members were killed: General Muhammad Badr Mahmoud, Captain Zein Nayef Khalloof and Colonel Adnan Munir Al-Salem.
