Light armored vehicle artillery survey is part of the control system fire artillery battalion. The device is designed to perform artillery survey the battlefield and obtaining data for fire while performing the tasks of fire support troops. With its deployment is calculated primarily on the exposed places of the battlefield, where it provides good protection of the crew and apparatus in front of a shaped charge grenades, projectiles from small arms and weapons of mass destruction. Ensemble it is possible to use also for the security of important areas and objects of a military and civil character.


HUNTING Pz is based on an integrated concept vehicle built on the basis of the automobile IVECO M65E19WM LMV established in the arsenal of the Army of the Czech republic. The device is equipped with a special purpose body with the weapons station ZSRD Pz armed with a machine gun , FN MAG with an emergency supply of 500 pieces of ammunition. Another 1,500 rounds of ammunition is transported in the cargo compartment of the vehicle. ZSRD Pz created a modification (or reconstruction) of the weapons station ZSRD 07. HUNTING Pz allows you to perform all the tasks of the forward observer, i.e., search targets, determining their coordinates in both day and night and transfer the data to the supervisor, requiring artillery and mortar fire. For conducting the survey outside of the vehicle is the vehicle equipped with kit SNPz (kit of replacement reconnaissance), which is stored in two backpacks in the cabin of the vehicle (transported to the site of a removed right rear seat).


The first prototype vehicle was created in the framework of the development program, a Light armored vehicle reconnaissance, which was launched in July 2013 and officially terminated in December 2014. In 2013, there were drawn 10 339 000 Czk, other 10 487 000 Czk was earmarked for the year 2014. The prototype was rebuilt from a light armored vehicle HUNTING THE 7.62 B established in the arsenal of 13. artillery regiment. The public was first introduced on the occasion of the military exhibition Future Forces 2014. For the needs of the Army of the Czech republic were for a standard modified four more HUNTING THE 7.62 B, which should be the user passed to the end of November 2014. All five HUNT the Pz was introduced in the arsenal of the 13. artillery regiment.


In the December 2015 contract was concluded for the delivery of the sixth specimen HUNTING Pz for the amount of 47 872 876 Czk including VAT. Delivery date was by the end of 2016.
