A helicopter of the Ukrainian air force Mil Mi-24VP "yellow 09", v. no. 10259, was shot down by insurgents near the Heorhijivky, the region of Luhansk, with both pilots killed. He was struck by another helicopter Mi-24, but it is not clear what are his other fortunes, perhaps, made an emergency landing outside the territory controlled by the Ukrainian army.
