From the port of Bandar Abbas sail frigate (Iran referred to as the destroyer) Sabalan (74) class Saam/Alvand (Vosper Mark V) and reach (Iran, referred to as amphibious) ship Kharg (431). Both vessels heading into the Atlantic on a three month mission and according to the observations of Iran they have to protect the shipping routes and to serve to the training of new members of the naval forces.
