MKVR
Mobile medium automated remote controlled jammer, operating in the 1.5 to 30 MHz band with a transmit power of 1000 W. It cancels omnidirectionally. The purpose of the jammer is to detect and jam tactical phonic and data radio links in the HF band. The target of the jammer is communications and command and control systems for troops at the tactical level. Up to 8 frequencies can be jammed simultaneously and the transmit power can be up to 1000 W. MKVR was developed within the MORUS system (modular jammer kit).
During the development and production of the MKVR jammer, the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic was inefficient with its budget resources, as the cost of the prototype was estimated by the manufacturer at CZK 63.06 million and CZK 78.86 million was actually spent. During the development of this jammer between 1996 and 2000, intangible assets worth CZK 3,28 million were created, which became unnecessary due to a change in tactical and technical conditions.
The kit is based on KSSK (KSSK-B) container bodies carried by T-815 VPR8 CTS vehicles with CTS 14255-VP container loaders (or T815-2 ARMAX CTS trucks with CTS 14155-VP container loaders). Electric power is supplied by a EC 30 kW power plant pulled from one of the vehicles (or EC 16 kW). A relatively significant part of the built technology in the MKVR set is of German origin (Rohde & Schwarz).
frequency step: 10 Hz transmitter switching speed: 20 ms per channel response time per cont. channel: 1 ms transmitter power: 1000 W modulation signal width: 100 Hz to 3.4 kHz frequency modulation stroke: up to 4 kHz F2D modulation: 10 Hz to 2 kHz AM modulation depth: 0 to 99.9%
