Badge: 		Medaile „Za statečnost“ je zhotovena z pozlacené tombakové slitiny, má tvar pravidelného osmiúhelníku s hroty o průměru vnitřní opsané kružnice 33 mm a tloušťku 3 mm. Na lícové straně je v horní polovině po obvodu medaile umístěn nápis (písmena patkami dovnitř) začínající vlevo „ZA STATEČNOST“. Uprostřed medailové plochy je umístěn meč a váhy. V dolní polovině jsou vyobrazeny lipové ratolesti. Na rubové straně medaile jsou uprostřed vyobrazeny meč a váhy, v horní polovině po obvodu medaile je umístěn nápis (písmena patkami dovnitř) začínající vlevo „VĚZEŇSKÁ SLUŽBA ČESKÉ REPUBLIKY“ a v dolní polovině medailové plochy po obvodu jsou vyobrazeny lipové ratolesti. Medaile je pohyblivým průvlečným závěsem ve tvaru lipových ratolestí připevněna ke zdvojené stuze široké 38 mm a dlouhé 50 mm, která má svislé pruhy v pořadí barev fialová, zlatá, červená, zlatá, fialová v poměru 7 : 10 : 4 : 10 : 7 mm Medal "For Bravery" is made of gold alloy tombakové, has the shape of a regular octagon with a blade diameter of the inner circumference of 33 mm and a thickness of 3 mm. On the reverse side of the medal are shown in the middle of a sword and scales in the upper half of the circumference of the medal is the inscription (letters feet inside) starting left "PRISON SERVICE CZECH REPUBLIC" in the lower half of the area around the perimeter of the medal depicts the linden branches. The medal is moving průvlečným hanger shaped linden branch attached to the double ribbon 38 mm wide and 50 mm long, which has vertical stripes in the order of the colors purple, gold, red, gold, purple in the ratio of 7: 10: 4: 10: 7 mm
