29. April will be held the solemn reading of the order of the minister of national defense Nr85/MON of 10. April, which is the unit assigned the honorary title of "admiral flot Andrzej Karwety" (13. Dywizjon Trałowców imienia admirała Paul Karwety). The ceremony involved the deputy commander of the navy - chief of staff vice admiral Ryszard Demczuk and the commander of the 3. fleet rear admiral Marian Ambroziak.
The patron of the unit becomes fleet admiral Andrzej Karweta. Andrzej Karweta was, inter alia, the commander of the 13. section minesweepers. He died 10. April 2010, in the disaster Tu-154M at Smolensk. At that time he was already the commander of the Polish navy.
