In the framework of the implementation of the international Treaty on open skies is on the days 18. to 23. march 2013 planned audit observation trip of a group of inspectors from the USA and the Czech republic on the airplane OC-135B over the territory of the Russian federation.
The aircraft belongs to a class of aircraft which are not destined for the use of weapons, but has on board sound system, which is used to survey and installation were attended by Russian specialists.
On this mission nformovalo the press department of the Ministry of defence of the Russian federation.
Flight is following the planned route even with the Russian specialists on board who will work together with specialists of the USA and the Czech republic from the deck of the aeroplane carried out in accordance with the contract inspection and observation using technical means of the survey.
