Building the documentation center is located in the place where previously stood the headquarters of the SS and the Gestapo (Reichssicherheitshauptamt - RSHA). This place is on the corner of Wilhelmstrasse and Niederkirchstrasse, formerly Prinz Albert Strasse. The cold war was in the latter street, erected the Berlin wall, the remains of which stands there to this day. The foundations of buildings were uncovered and so at present we can see an interesting combination of historical buildings from different eras, standing in two levels one above the other. Itself documentation centre is a newly built modern building which, among other activities, offers visitors the exposure of photos on the themes of nazism, the party of the NSDAP and the Third reich.
Transport: close to S-bahn station Anhalter Bahnhof or Potsdamer Platz U-bahn station Potsdamer Platz, Kochstrasse or Stadtmitte..
