The CZECH government agreed to send a contingent of up to 50 soldiers to the Mali in the framework of the EU mission (EUTM Mali). Their task will be for a period of 15 months provide the necessary training of members of selected mechanized units maliských of the armed forces. The deployment of the soldiers still subject to the consent of the Parliament of the CZECH republic.
The duration of the mission EUTM Mali has been provisionally fixed at 15 months, members of the mission will not take part in hostilities.
