Air Vice-Marshal of the RAF. During 1. world war he served as a pilot in the RNAS, decorated for bravery in the attack on the German base of seaplanes in Zeebrugge. 2. world war ended in the function of the chief technical bodies and supply the RAF in the Mediterranean.
