ReVISOR (RVR)

The main part of the development was implemented between the years 2009 to 2011 in the framework of the program of Reconnaissance sensor very short range, which stood 91 782 000 Czk (of which 41 287 000 checks to cover the Ministry of industry and trade). As a result of development has become a functional pattern bojišťového radar, whose performances of the representatives of the Ministry of industry and trade of the CZECH republic, the Ministry of defence of the CZECH republic and the Army of the CZECH republic took place on 19. October 2011. A prototype of the radar corresponding to the serial version for the Czech army was first publicly unveiled at the fair IDET 2013.
For the ACR was delivered in the version placed on the uniaxial trailer, it can be mounted even on light off-road vehicle. The rotating antenna can pick up to a height of 6.5 m. the ReVISOR consists of two basic functional units. The first is the module of R - radar short-range with the task of exploration of airspace. The second is the module C2 with the information and communication subsystem, that allow command and control of fire. Both modules have their workplace, which can be controlled directly at the device, or it can be used as a portable for placement in the tent, building or in the towing vehicle. Radio range C2 is 20 km. Structural design of the device allows the detection and monitoring of nízkoletících targets (including helicopters in hover) and targets with small radar cross - (small unmanned reconnaissance/combat means).
Public contract for its acquisition for the needs of the ACR has been declared 19. December 2010. The contract with the company RETIA for 352 937 401 Czk for the supply of four radars was concluded 12. November 2012. Troop trials of the new radar reconnaissance sensors short-range took place at the military training area Boletice and in the barracks 25. anti-aircraft missile regiment from 11. November 2013. II. stage of military tests was terminated 31. January 2014. Its focus was mainly testing of the automated system of command and fire control RACCOS as a whole after the integration of the sensor ReVISOR and detection nízkoletících goals and objectives with a small reflecting surface. Troop trials continued III. stage, which began on 17. February 2014. Troop tests the first sets of radar ReVISOR have been completed 11. march of the same year. The official handover and introduction of the exploratory sensor ReVISOR to the armament of the ACR occurred on 22. April 2014.
The operator of the radar has become the 25. anti-aircraft missile regiment or 252. anti-aircraft missile section armed with ensembles RBS-70. On Thursday, 20. November 2014 was handed over to the second piece of radar reconnaissance sensors ReVISOR including a set of spare parts. The third piece was the representatives of the Agencies of logistics handed over 9. June 2015. 30. September 2015 was filled with a contract between the company RETIA and the Ministry of defence of the CZECH republic on the supply of reconnaissance sensors for 25. anti-aircraft missile regiment - in this day was handed over to the fourth piece of the recon sensors. The other two specimens (including spare parts and radio stations) for 169 998 466 Czk with VAT were ordered in December 2015.
ReVISOR is one of the elements of the module V-SHORAD (Very Short Range Air Defence), which form the core of the task force anti-aircraft missile platoon, or anti-aircraft missile battery. Module V-SHORAD consists of the elements of the survey, command and fire control, firing means and means of transport. On arrival in day and night time and in conditions of interference is capable of task force anti-aircraft missile platoon to cover a space up to 400 square kilometers.
