The development of this vehicle was completed by Krupp Industrietechnik GmbH Duisburg and MAN Brückengeräte Gustavsburg in 1984. The bridge structure is mounted on a Magirus-Deutz 8x8 or 8x6 vehicle. The bridge can be laid and ready for use within 3 to 4 minutes.
