Diesel versions were and are produced, but the GTSM in the photos is from the museum in Rokycany and is indeed the GTSM GAZ-34032, and has an engine identical to the GAZ 66, hence the spark ignition. All 34032s that were in the arsenal of our army were petrol engines. Diesel is up to 34034, 34036, 34037, 34038 and 34039. However, these types did not serve in our army, or at least I don't know about them. However, they are still made today and can be bought from GAZ dealerships.

GAZ-34034 - an amphibious ambulance vehicle (according to www.gazklub.cz astronaut landing rescue vehicle).
The vehicle is designed for transporting a medical team in difficult and inaccessible terrain. With the help of this vehicle, quick assistance to victims of natural calamities and accidents in inaccessible terrain and their transportation to hospital is possible. The vehicle is equipped with standard medical first aid equipment including a defibrillator, sterilizer, breathing equipment, oxygen bottles, restraining mats, a quadruple couch with fastening belts for the recumbent injured and a bench seat for the lightly injured.
