In 1950, the development of vehicles was started in the company Tatra Kop & # 345; ivnice Tatra 803, Tatra 804 and Tatra 805, p & # 345; i & # 269; em & # 382; only the latter went into series production and operations in the army.
The prototype of the Tatra 804 vehicle was made on November 6, 1951. Its chassis matched the same part of the vehicle Tatra 803, m & # 283 however, the wheelbase was shortened to 2,000 mm. However, the weight did not meet the army's requirements. Although attempts have been made to relieve the vehicle, they have failed. and the Tatra 804 was eventually not introduced into service.
