The aviator Gary Powers, which is known as the pilot of a reconnaissance airplane of the CIA U-2 sestřeleném in 1.5.1960 at Sverdlovska, received 15.6.2012 posthumously (he died in 1977 in the crash of a helicopter radio KNBC due to lack of fuel) honours Silver Star. Honours chairman of Powersův grandson.
