18.05.2012 - Venezuela: Havárie vrtulníku si vyžádala čtyři životy

The venezuelan machine Mil Mi-17IN-5 (EV-0672, c/n 862M04) belonging vrtulníkovému the battalion headquarters of the army air forces (Comando de la Aviación del Ejército, Batallón de Helicópteros) crashed during takeoff at the airport San Felipe/Sub Tenient Nestor Arias. While climbing during takeoff, lost power, and from a height of about 10 meters fell to the ground. Four persons of a five-man crew in the crash died.
Died a helicopter pilot colonel (coronel), Oscar Martínez, commander (primer teniente) Ramsés Bolívar, ensign (sargento primero) Daniel Ribas and staff sergeant (sargento segundo) Billonto Chon Ribas.
