After about 70 years was accidentally found a crashed Curtiss P-40D Warhawk (Curtiss Kittyhawk Mk.I), matriculation HS-B from the 260. squadron RAF in the desert southeast of Egypt. The pilot was Flight Sergeant Dennis Copping (24 years old), whose remains in the wreckage were not found. The crash probably survived and perished in the desert on the way to rescue. The aircraft crashed 28.06.1942. Finder of an aeroplane is Polak Jakub Perka, an employee of the oil company.
