Between the villages of Carimir and Goljam Chardak, in Plovdiv, crashed Mikojan-Gurevich MiG-29UB Fulcrum-B (9-51) (white 11, c/n N50903013375).
The plane crashed in the river. Both pilots managed to eject and were taken back to base. Witnesses said that the plane was during the fall in flames.
The machine belonged to 2/3 fighter squadron 3. the air base in Graf Ignatievo (2/3 Iztrebitelna Avio Eskadrila, 3 Iztrebitelna Aviacionna Bass, Graf Ignatievo).
