09.03.2012 - Český voják obdržel nejvyší vyznamenání NATO

Staff Warrant Officer Ludek Kolesa, who served for more than four years at Transformation Command in Norfolk, received the NATO Meritorious Service Medal. The award was presented to him by Defence Minister Alexandr Vondra, himself the first Czech to receive the decoration. Staff Warrant Officer Luděk Kolesa became the fourth Czech recipient of this decoration and has also been inducted into the U.S. Staff Warrant Officer Academy Hall of Fame at Fort Bliss since 2008.
