In 1930, the French Ministry of War announced a pistol competition for the French army with a deadline in June 1933. Among the 15 models of various companies, the State Armory Manufacture Nationale Armd Armes in Sant-Étienne supplied six SE.MAS 1932 sample pistols. caliber 7.65 mm long, with unlocked closure, single-acting mechanism and external cock. They had some interesting elements of the design, such as the charge status indicator in the magazine. However, this pistol did not survive in the competition, it was not introduced into armament and due to the small amount produced, it is rare for collectors.

In the photo from my archive, just the 1925 model. Notice the joint connecting the left and right halves of the handle. The same solution is used by SEMAS 1932.
