Tables, vojnový ' boneyard from II. svetovej war



On južnom úpätí High Tatras in nadmorskej výške 840 metrov nad morom in západnej part of the Popradskej basin in the district of Poprad, sa rozprestiera aj picturesque village Štôla. It is known najmä letným aj zimným tourist ruchom.

In this village of sa nachádza aj vojnový ' boneyard from II. svetovej war. On cintoríne are buried sovietski, the marines and soldiers 1. the czechoslovak armádneho corps, ktorý sa participated in the battle pri oslobodzovaní Poprad and Liptovský Mikuláša and boli injured and the consequences of injury zomreli vo vojnovej hospital Vyšné Hágy.
Ochre vojakov are, however, buried in aj patients sanatória, liečebne Vyšné Hágy.

On cintoríne sa nachádza together 297 hrobov. In hroboch is identified 42 vojakov with údajmi and 40 are neznámi.

'Boneyard bol refurbished over the year 1999. Dominating the cemetery is the exterierová sculpture "Ruža Vďaky". Plastic surgery was executed by the academic sochárka Anna Goliášová. For this pamätníkom in polkruhu are located the graves.

'Boneyard is národná kultúrna pamiatka and is prístupný the public.
