Annotation Early in the morning 22. June 1941 lit up the sky over the western border of the Soviet union in flashes of explosions of bombs and artillery shells. On by the soviet troops to withstand a hurricane of German fire. German branná power was divided into three groups, which act in three main operational directions – north, east and south. The German blow was so strong that after a few days was most of the soviet units (although they had over the attacker a distinct advantage) destroyed and their remnants retreated to the east, while only occasionally were able to take a defensive position or go to a local counterattack. In spite of all an initial success, however, the soviet-German war has become for the German military forces for the whole of the so-called thousand year reich at the beginning of their end.
The publication includes a DVD with the film Barbarossa. Hitler turns to the east.
