a Brief annotation | issue is devoted to the creation of a mediterranean theater of war the second world war, and combat actions from may 1940 to June 1941. In detail there are described the actions of land, sea and air units as Axis countries, Great Britain and its balkan allies, including the hostilities in the area so called horn of Africa. Individual passages of the plastically show how Italian the frustration of the German successes brought the militarily unprepared country into a critical situation, and subsequently to the de facto German yoke. On the other hand, it is shown the british effort to maintain communications in the Mediterranean, which eventually, in the spring of 1941 led to the escalation of the conflict on the Balkan peninsula and into the middle eastern area. The Text complements the large amount of photo, picture and map attachments. The heading is accompanied by eight DVDS with the films of the Last tank, Convoy PQ 17 (three DVDS) and the War machine of the Americans (four DVD's). |
