Meissen dome of st. John the Evangelist and st. Donata (Meißner Dom)
The construction of meissen cathedral of st. John the Evangelist and st. Donata was started in 1265 in gothic style on the site of the original temple exposed in the romanesque style. This is a three-aisled dvouchórovou basilica. In the early-gothic choir of is located the necropolis of the genus Wettinů.

church of our lady (Frauenkirche)
The church is first remembered the year 1205, when it belonged to a merchant of the settlement. In the years 1370 to 1500 was extensively rebuilt in the indoor temple in late gothic style. During this period he was twice struck by the extensive fires, which is the main cause of so long remodeling. The superstructure of the tower is already of renaissance from the year 1549. Further significant adjustments, then the church has undergone up to the end of the 19th. and the beginning of the 20th. century.

the Church of st. Afry (Afrakirche)
Originally a romanesque church whose origin is placed in the period of the bishop Dětřicha Even. (Dietrich), who in his function he worked in the years 1024 to 1040, was structurally completed in 1064. In the same year he was in Augsburg, found relics of st. Afry, and so was dedicated to this saint. The year 1205 when the church founded the convent of augustinian, whereupon soon start the gradual rebuilding of the temple of the three-aisled basilica of san marco, while he got an extremely long presbytery. There has been a gradual zaklenování originally plochostropé construction. The presbytery was implemented in the years 1380 to 1390, south side boat 1390 to 1400, the northern side ship until around the year 1460, and finally sometimes around the year 1480 were also on the ship main. The south side of the ship at the same time, from the year 1408 it served as the burial chapel of the genus von Schleinitz (with us posing as Šlejnicové). In the year 1670, there was pohřebo about 30 to 40 members of this genus. 16. century the church in the context of the reformation becomes luterským, which expires with the convention. In 17. and 18. the century occurs only to a small baroque alterations, which mainly focuses on the south main portal. In 1963, the church was repaired and further repairs were started in 1990, when they were launched the total reconstruction of the historic center of the city.

The extensive building of the city hall, issued in late gothic style builder Nickelem Steinbachem from 1471 to 1478. Baroque adjustments in the year 1726, regotizace 1872.
