04.11.2011 - Řád britského impéria udělen za výstavbu v Afghánistánu

Captain Simon Oxley, the operating officer of 517 Specialist Team Royal Engineers, 170 (Infrastructure Support) Group Royal Engineers was awarded the Order of the british empire 5. class (MBE) for his activities during Operation HERRICK 13 in the period from October 2010 to march 2011. Together with his team of 18 experts, designed and built in Lashkar Gah, Helmand province 71 km asphalt road and 34 checkpoint for the Afghan national police.
