Russian helicopter Mi-28N Night Hunter did not succeed in the indian tender against the american AH-64D Apache. According to the indian ministry of defence of the Russian machine is lagging behind in the technical parameters. This is about the delivery of 22 vehicles worth USD 600 million. In the running are the other two tenders. One for the delivery of 12 heavy transport helicopters, where the competing Russian Mi-26T2 with the american CH-47F Chinook. In the second tender is for the supply of 197 light helicopters for general use. Here competes a Russian Ka-226T with the european AS550 Fennec .
