Přispívám do diskuze fotografiemi cvičné střely do panzerschrecku. Střela měla klasický pohon, ale trhavina byla z betonu( nebo sádry). Tento exemplář je možné shlédnout v muzeu opevnění TS26

Zcela vyjímečně nechám dotaz ve faktografii, obvykle střelec nosil běžnou plynovou masku (standardní výbava každého vojáka) s odšroubovaným filtrem. Šlo o to že zášleh z odlétající rakety byl schopen vmést nespálené zbytky pohoné směsi do obličeje. Nenosil se "speciální oděv" a pokud vím ani rukavice. Je možné že štít na zbrani ale chránil dostatečně a obsluha si masku nebrala (má ji myslím jen voják na třetí fotce), ale po pravdě si myslím že fotky jsou nahrané.

Jen několik doplnění. Všechny součásti hlavice byly vyráběny lisováním z ocelového plechu. K hlavici byl v její zadní části připevněn podrážový raketový motor na TPH tvořenou 7 trubkovými zrny diglykolového bezdýmného prachu. Celkové hmotnost hnací náplně 0,177 kg. Zbraň se odpalovala pomocí indukčního generátoru ovládaného spouští, který oproti obvyklému bateriovému odpalu měl zvýšenou spolehlivost a to i při extrémních teplotách. Po zážehu raketového motoru udělil tento po vyhoření paliva ( která měla vyhořet ještě v hlavni ) střele rychlost až 115 m/s. Používalo se dvou druhů raketového paliva dle ročního období. V letních podmínkách ( - 5 až + 50° C) se používala náplň normální a pro zimní teploty ( -40 až +30° C) se používala náplň typu Ark ( Arktik).Při teplotách pod - 5°C se u letní náplně projevoval zvýšený rozptyl zásahu a při použití náplně Ark v teplotách nad + 30°C docházelo důsledkem nárůstu pracovního tlaku k destrukci spalovací komory. Při zásahu cíle se nejprve aktivoval citlivý hlavový zapalovač a od něj se přenesla detonace na dnový zapalovač šlehovou trubkou. Dnový zapalovač inicioval explozi kumulativní nálože trhaviny tritol - hexogen (40 / 60).
V letech 1943 - 1945 bylo vyrobeno 300 000 kusů zbraní typového značení R-Pz.B54 Ofenrohr. Ještě během války došlo k určitým malým úpravám konstrukce a zbraň pak byla vyráběna pod označením R - Pz. 54/1 Panzerschreck.
Z důvodů nutnosti zvýšení průbojnosti byla připravována výroba stejně koncipované zbraně v ráži 100 mm, ale její vývoj již do konce války nebyl dokončen.

The Finnish designation for the 8,8 cm RPzB.54 "Panzerschreck" 88 rakh/B 54 "Panssarikauhu"

The Finnish army ordered from Germany 2 000 weapons Panzerschreck and 20 000 missiles. Total price for this order amounted to 200 000 RM (Reichsmark), the price for the Panzerschreck and 10 launchers was 100 RM. It seems that the ratio of ten rockets for Panzerschreck was widely used in most of the supply of these weapons to Finland. Before the Finns signed an armistice with the soviets (which put an end to all arms shipments from Germany) in September 1944, the Germans delivered 1,854 panzerschreck grenades and 18,650 missiles for the Finnish army. The first delivery of panzerschreck grenades arrived on the same ship as the first shipment of panzerfaust bazookas. All Panzerschrecky delivered to Finland were versions of the 8,8 cm Raketenpanzerbüsche 54 and the rockets of the type "RPzB.Gr.4322 Wintermunition 43/44". As the title says, this particular type of rocket was also designed for winter use and could be used at temperatures from -25 degrees Celsius to +25 degrees Celsius. Official German data guarantee effective range of 120 yards against the operating tank and 150 yards against the immobile tank. But tests carried out by the Finnish army showed that the real effective range of a against the operating target was only about 100 meters. The Finnish name "Panssarikauhu", which was adopted by the Finnish army, has exactly the same meaning as the German "Panzerschreck" - horror for the tanks; the terror of the tanks... Finland rarely used official name for "8,8 cm RPzB.54", which was 88 Rakh/B54. The Finnish official name for the rocket Panzerschreck was 88 psh-rak/B-27/30.

Thanks to the absurd requirement to cover the training with Panzerschreckem in fínských the armed forces, there were practically no Finnish soldier trained to this weapon used when 09.06.1944 the Soviet union began the offensive on the Karelian sew. As with the Finnish soldiers using Panzerfausty mostly learned to use these weapons when in combat. For some reason it seems that the number of accidents is Panzerschrecku somewhat smaller - even if the re-výšleh this weapon was more dangerous than the one that produced the Panzerfaust. It could have something to do with the gun, which is seen as more complex, so the instructions have been read and performed more accurately. Unfortunately (observed also Germans) the Panzerschreck also easy to give the shooters a false sense of "great powers", which led to the fire from too long distance and more often missed the target compared with Panzerfaustem.

The Finnish test report



As well as Finnish soldiers with Panzerfausty, also soldiers with Panzerschrecky soon excelled with their weapons. Feedback collected from the troops showed that in mid-July 1944, the soldiers who used the new German weapons in the fight, and considered the Panzerschreck for the most effective and most reliable anti-tank weapon, which was infantry in the time available. However, it was found that the weight of the weapon and its ammunition was such that the official size team (three men) was too small, if the weapon and its ammunition transported on longer distances. The gun and the rockets were in addition considered to be too easily visible, and therefore the soldiers recommended to provide themselves with camouflage, which soon happened. It was found that the location of the missile inside the transport boxes is too loose, which allowed the missiles to move and could cause damage to electrical wires, which could lead to their ignition. In addition, it was difficult to remove the safety pin used in the fuses of each of the rocket.

The official size of the Finnish Panzerschreck team was three men: One man as the shooter Panzerschrecku, a second cover for him with a machine gun before the enemy infantry and the third then carried the ammunition for the Panzerschreck and sometimes also the Panzerfaust as a backup weapon. Panzerschreck proved a good weapon and its long range proved to be very useful, but its size and weight is not so good compared with Panzerfaustem. Only about 17% of the rockets for Panzerschreck delivered to the Finnish army was used in 2. world war, so more than 14 000 missiles remained unused when the war ended. Panzerschreck served in the Finnish army until the late fifties. At that time, were replaced by homemade rocket launchers "55 With the 55", which was a Finnish development based on the weapon Panzerschreck.
