Vehicle built on the chassis PV3S M2 with a closet SKS intended for carrying out of lower degrees of repair of artillery equipment and small arms in the field conditions at the level of the basic unit (regiment).
Workshop their concept builds on the previous type PPDD-M. A limited amount of workshops PPDD-SKS was made in the eighties in a Military ship repair factory 016 in Moldava nad Bodvou.
