Russia's National Anti-Terrorism Commission announced that police in the North Caucasus republic of Dagestan today shot dead a terrorist who was involved in a number of terrorist actions. Shamil Pajzulayev, nicknamed Abdusalam, was captured in the village of Reduktornyj near the capital Makhachkala. Police surrounded him in his apartment and he attempted armed resistance.
