Last night, three insurgents were killed in Dagestan in two separate shootings. In the first incident, police stopped two men in a car during a road check. Instead of producing their documents, they opened fire and both were shot dead. No police officers were injured.
In the second incident, police surrounded a local rebel commander during a special operation in the town of Kaspiysk. He managed to wound three policemen before he was killed.
