V operácii ISAF v Afganistane sa zranili dvaja slovenskí vojaci. Jeden si takmer odstrelil prsty na ruke, druhý si počas nácviku postrelil palec na nohe. V operácii aktuálne pôsobí 313 Slovenských vojakov.

Ukážka rýchlosti slovenských novinárov..... K nehodám došlo myslím 1. (alebo 2?).5. a 9.5., už 11.5. bol v rámci OS SR distribuovaný podrobný popis toho čo sa stalo, vrátane opatrení, pričom jedným z opatrení bolo aj oboznámenie všetkých vojakov.... Je zaujímavé že trvalo ďalších 14 dní, pokiaľ to zverejnili novinári a urobili z toho senzáciu (a je zarážajúce, že o incidentoch neinformoval hovorca ozbrojených síl, mohlo sa predísť aspoň čiastočne dohadom čo sa stalo a ako sa to stalo).
