A vehicle originally manufactured at the company Hansa-Lloyd, as Hansa Express with the engine about the content of the 1100 ccm, in 1937 the company was renamed after its owner Carlo Borgwardovi and the car is more produced under the name Borgward B1000 with the engine of 1.4 liters.
