Italský ministr obrany Ignazio La Russa dnes oznámil, že osm italských bojových letadel se přímo zúčastní náletů proti silám loajálním vůdci Kadáfímu. Útočná skupina se bude skládat ze čtyř Tornád a čtyř AV8 Harrierů. Další čtyři italské F-16 se budou podílet na hlídkování v rámci bezletové zóny nad Libyí.
