Lorraine 38L PC

Voiture de Commandement Lorraine 38L PC
At the end of 1939, this modification of the artillery tractor/transporter Lorraine 38L was created as part of the mobile fastener development program. At least 10 vehicles were sent to Fort d´Issy (SEMT headquarters - Section d´études de materiels de transmissions). Available photos and sources also point to two prototypes of the connecting vehicle Voiture blindée de commandement Lorraine 38L PC ( PC - poste de commandement). One was intended for the battalion commander (M 60 064?), The other for the company commander (M 60 072).
The vehicle for the battalion commander carried a radio station ER 55, ER 51 (or ER 30) and a telephone TM 32. In the tow in the trailer carried a receiver R 61. The crew of the vehicle communicated with the crew in the towed trailer by internal telephone.
The company commander's vehicle did not have an ER 55 and an internal telephone.
The vehicles had a centrally located antenna and three other rod antennas on the sides of the vehicle/trailer.
The prototype for the battalion commander was used in the fighting in 5-6/1940 under 3 e Compagnie 17 e BCP. (Commander Capt. Gellot)
