The chemical indicator that replaced the PCHR-45 type was used to detect chemical and biological contamination under field conditions. It used disposable indicator tubes as an indication. Air was pumped through the tubes by a mechanical pump. Infestation was indicated as weak, moderate and strong by comparison with a colour scale. All accessories are housed in an aluminum case designed for shoulder carry. Identifications: Soman, Yperite, Phosgene, Diphosgene, Hydrogen Cyanide, Chlorhydrate
