The RKA hinged switch is intended for firing ignition circuits and for checking their resistances. It is built into a two-part casing of insulating material (bakelite). It is located in a bag that serves to protect and carry it. It is not necessary to remove the igniter from the bag to carry out the firing, just open the lid. The principle of the function is to charge the capacitor bank with voltage from the hand generator. After reaching the light of the control bulb, the igniter is charged and ready to fire. Firing is performed by pressing the button in the FIRE position. The connection terminals of the ignition circuit are located on the right side of the ignition. The red terminal is also used to discharge the capacitors.
