Fiat CR.20
- It was the first production version of this type, not different from the prototype. Approximately 250 aircraft were produced.
Fiat CR.20bis
- This version went into production in 1930. The undercarriage underwent a major modification, the simple rigid undercarriage being replaced by an independently sprung undercarriage of a completely new design with hydraulic-pneumatic shock absorbers and brakes. A total of 235 aircraft were built, including the CR.20bisAQ subversion.
Fiat CR.20bisAQ
- This was a version of the CR.20bis, powered by a Fiat A.20AQ engine, which improved the aircraft's altitude characteristics.
Fiat CR.20 Idro
- CR.20 versions were equipped with two floats to replace the original landing gear. A total of 46 floatplanes were built. Half of them were built by fa. Macchi and the other half by CMASA. The Idro version was not popular.
Fiat CR.20 Asso
- The last version introduced into series production, the biggest difference was the installation of the air-cooled Isotta Fraschini Asso Caccia engine and thus the change of the engine cowling, also the horizontal tail area was increased. A total of 204 aircraft were built between 1931 and 1933, 104 by Macchi and 100 by CMASA.
Fiat CR.20B
