Fiat G.55 prototypes
- three prototypes were produced, the first two were powered by a German DB 605A engine
Fiat G.55/0
- 17 pre-production aircraft with one 20 mm cannon and four half-inch machine guns
Fiat G.55/I
- 87 to 105 manufactured serial aircraft and more powerful weapons
Fiat G.55/II
- apparently only remained with the intention to introduce this version into production, armament 5x cannon MG 151/20, prototype took off in 1944
Fiat G.55S
- in August 1944, the G.55S torpedo plane took off for the first time, which could carry one Whitehead torpedo,
Fiat G.55A
- it was a post-war production of fighters, 19 used by the Italian Air Force, 30 by Argentina and 19 by Egypt
Fiat G.55B
- post-war two-seater training aircraft, 10 Italy and 15 Argentina, first takeoff February 12, 1946
