Estonský prezident dnes v Camp Bastionu v Helmandu odhalil památník estonským vojákům padlým v Afghanistánu. Estonští vojáci působí v rámci ISAF od roku 2003. Osm jich při tom padlo a více než 40 bylo zraněno. Dnes jich je v Afghanistánu více než 160. Na vybudování památníku přispělo na 100 jednotlivců, vybralo se přes USD 8 000,-. Památník má tvar komolého jehlanu s deskou obsahující jména obětí a křížem na vrcholu.
