K výročí okupace Československa Ústav pro studium totalitních režimů zpřístupňuje dosud největší soubor dokumentů z archivu bývalého sovětského bloku vztahujících se k historii Československa.


V prosinci 2009 obdržel ÚSTR a Archiv bezpečnostních složek na základě dohody o spolupráci konvolut 330 digitalizovaných dokumentů v rozsahu cca 1400 stran z provenience Výboru Státní bezpečnosti Ukrajinské sovětské socialistické republiky (KGB USSR) vztahujících se k událostem Pražského jara 1968, srpnové okupace a nastupující tzv. normalizace Československé socialistické republiky (ČSSR).
