Dne 26. ledna 1972 poblíž Janské došlo k pádu letadla jugoslávské letecké společnosti JAT. Při této katastrofě zahynulo 27 lidí, neštěstí přežila letuška Vesna Vulovičová.

20. years XX. century was the world economic crisis, which severely affected even by then a thriving cotton mill no. 75, and the factory threads no. 59. In this building was in the year 1931-1933 placed unit čs. troops guard border. In 1938, when any escalation of tension in the čs. the borderlands between him and čes. the population was in this building located XXII.guard battalion of the czechoslovak.army. The commander of this unit was major Jan Zizka. This battalion guarded the line of the border fortifications ŘOP. On 2.10.1938 čs. troops must vacate border and the same day entered into Janské units of the German army, enthusiastically welcomed the German. the population that longed to become part of the Greater German reich.

In January 1940 they were in the factory building no. 59 staying the resettlers German. nationalities from the east – Volynští the Germans. In Českokamenickém the list of graves is recorded 12 deaths of their children from February to end of march 1940.
In September 1940, the viennese company Vereinigte Farberein AG bought rabštejnský complex of mills and tried to resume production in the factory number 75. It lasted very shortly, in December 1941 were all of the facilities in Rabštejn and Janské closed and textile production in those factories finally ceased to exist. 1.10.1942 was the whole complex Preidlových factories confiscated by the greater German reich and handed over to Fy Weserflugzeugbau Bremen. So how is arms production steadily increased, growing demands on the growing number of workers. Therefore, it was in Janske-Rabštejn and in the Czech Kamenice gradually established more than 30 camps, 2 prisoner of war for the soviet and anglo-american officers. Total for Fy WFG worked in the Rabštejn - Janská and around 6000 employees(forced labourers, warriors. prisoners and prisoners of conc. camp) from 18.countries of the world.
Work shifts were 12-hour, in the worst conditions they lived prisoners of KT and the workers of the default. countries.
Wartime production consisted of the manufacture of parts for aircraft engines, wings of aircraft JU 87,188, and JU 388, the Focke-Wulf 190, helicopters, the Focke Achgelis 223, structures KUTO-NASE (i.e. installations for the disposal of anti-aircraft balloons),pom-poms were cutting MK 108 caliber 30 mm, and the means of delivery of bombs for the JU 188.

In the fifties letecj the czechoslovak army began to modify the underground space in Janské opposite to the former. factory no. 59 (demolished in 1966) on the warehouses of strategic stocks of FUEL for the pact the Warsaw pact.
