Vice-admiral Saneyuki Akiyama
An officer of the Japanese Imperial Navy during the Meiji period. After the outbreak of the Russo-Japanese War, he accompanied Admiral Togo as an advisor on the battleship Mikasa. He played an important role in the planning of the Battle of Port Arthur, the Battle of the Yellow Sea, and drew up the seven-stage plan for the victorious Battle of Tsushima.
