Several sources state that ColonelSinugin was Chief of Staff of the 6th Guards Airborne Division until April 1945. However, the archival documents below show that on 30 November 1944, he signed the 30th Rifle Corps battle staff report as its chief of staff. Although his surname is not mentioned on the document, by comparing the signatures on later documents, as well as on those of the 6th Guards Airborne Division, it can be concluded with certainty that this is the same person.
