The 1944 design of the Skoda SK 23 (development work A1-36) was to use a steam engine prepared by a rival company BMM. It was a parallel project to the SK 13. The modern steam engines envisaged at BMM were to be supplied by Krupp, which, according to Mr Spielberger, was working on a similar machine at the end of the war. Once delivered, a prototype could be built within 4 months. However, only drawings and a 1:10 scale model were produced. The BMM itself produced its own design for the vehicle SK 33.
